CRAF: Supporting the Future of Rheumatology at the CRA Annual Scientific Meeting
Download PDF

Students and trainees took centre stage at this year’s Canadian Rheumatology Association Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) in Halifax, bringing new research, fresh perspectives, and clinical insights. Their participation highlights the essential role that emerging clinicians and researchers play in advancing patient care and innovation across the field.
Through the Canadian Rheumatology Association Foundation (CRAF) bursary program, 36 qualifying students were able to attend the ASM, with registration fees waived thanks to the generous support of MitogenDx. By connecting trainees with clinicians and researchers from across the country, the meeting creates opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing that will support improvements in patient care.
The CRAF proudly supported this year’s ASM and highlighted the critical role of philanthropic investment in advancing rheumatology education, research, and training across Canada.
CRAF’s support for student participation reflects the Foundation’s broader mission to advance rheumatology in Canada through education, training, and research.
With continued support from donors, sponsors, and community partners, the ASM remains an important space for connection, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas that help advance rheumatology care across Canada.
