The Canadian Rheumatology Association (CRA) is
pleased to announce that CIORA will be funding five
two-year grants for a total of $509,203 CAD to projects
that will enhance access and innovation for rheumatology
care. Congratulations to the 2020 grant award recipients!
This was the 13th annual grant competition and since
2006, CIORA has funded 103 projects and provided
$7,378,703 CAD in research funding.
CIORA provides funding based on various pillars; this year’s
grants include projects that promote:
- Awareness/Advocacy/Education (1)
- Multi-Disciplinary Care Teams (1)
- Health Economics/Sustainability of Health Care/Quality Improvement (3)

- Letter of Intent must be submitted by February 19, 2021.
- CIORA Online Grant Application submission deadline is April 9, 2021 at 17:00 (Pacific Time).
